Job summary

Beck Automation AG in Barcelos, Portugal, seeks a Technical Purchaser to handle procurement of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, evaluate supplier quotes, and negotiate contracts to ensure on-time supply.

You will support end-to-end purchasing, manage supplier relationships, and develop international sourcing channels outside Portugal; fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with German as an advantage. Join an innovative, international team.

Qualifications

• Technical education or higher education with experience in technical purchasing.
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing in industrial environment.
• Solid technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Experience in international supplier management.
• Good ERP and MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Obtaining, comparing, and evaluating supplier quotations.
• Conducting price, contract, and commercial negotiations.
• Supporting the end-to-end purchasing process.
• Ensuring on-time procurement and material availability.
• Managing supplier claims and escalation processes.
• Conducting supplier evaluations and audits.
• Performing market and price analyses and identifying new sourcing markets.
• Developing international sourcing channels outside Portugal.
