H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking an Internal Auditor to support SOX testing, internal audits, and compliance activities across global operations.

This role evaluates financial, operational, and compliance controls, identifies risks, and supports continuous improvement within a collaborative, cross-regional environment. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders, perform testing across regions, and contribute to a strong culture of integrity and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
• At least 3 years of audit experience, preferably in Big Four or manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the country and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Perform SOX 404 controls testing across assigned regions.
• Execute internal audits per annual plan.
• Assess effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Support fraud and non-compliance investigations with Legal and business partners.
• Identify process gaps, root causes, and remediation opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and track corrective action plans.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and global teams.
• Contribute to data analytics, audit process improvements, and special projects.
