Job summary

H.B. Fuller Isar Rakoll S.A. in Portugal is seeking an Internal Auditor to support SOX controls testing, internal audits, and compliance activities across global operations.

You will evaluate financial, operational, and compliance controls, identify risks, and work with stakeholders in multiple regions to drive improvements while upholding integrity and accountability. The role requires 3+ years of audit experience, advanced Excel and SAP S/4HANA/Power BI familiarity, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of audit experience, preferably in a Big Four firm and/or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOX 404 controls testing across assigned regions.
• Execute internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.
• Assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Support fraud and non-compliance investigations with Legal and business partners.
• Identify process gaps, root causes, and remediation opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and track corrective action plans.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and global teams.
• Contribute to data analytics, audit process improvements, and special projects.
