H.B. Fuller Portugal is seeking a Chief Accountant to manage monthly closings and statutory reporting for two Italian entities. The role ensures compliance with US GAAP and local tax guidelines, while supporting management on financial, tax and legal matters.

As part of a hybrid Porto-based team, you will drive SOX controls, prepare the 10-K related documentation, and coordinate with external auditors to maintain accurate financial reporting across entities.

Qualificações

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area.
• Strong technical accounting background.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in multinational companies or SSCs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Italian a plus.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system; advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly closing activities, ensure US GAAP and Statutory reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare financial statements and tax filings, support internal and external audits.
• Support process improvements and internal controls (SOX) to simplify accounting structure.
