Job summary

Körber is seeking an international project manager for Electrical Design and Automation in Porto. You will oversee the Electrical Design and Automation work package, including hardware, visualization, and PLC software, and coordinate installation and commissioning activities.

You should have a degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics or equivalent, multiple years of PM experience (logistics preferred), and strong English skills; travel ~30% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

You possess the necessary technical expertise based on a completed degree (Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics) or have a comparable qualification/additional training.
You already have several years of professional experience as a project manager, preferably in the logistics industry.
Good knowledge of drive technology and bus systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as the international project manager for Electrical Design and Automation.
Coordinate and/or develop the Electrical Design and Automation work package, including hardware, visualization, and PLC software.
Review specifications during the bidding phase and prepare the Electrical Design and Automation section of the requirements specification for project execution.
Coordinate installation and commissioning activities in the automation sector and oversee and monitor system testing.
