Thales Group in Portugal is seeking a Payments Specialist to join TBSS. You will process domestic and international payments, ensure controls, and collaborate with AP, Treasury, and Accounting. A finance degree and SAP experience are preferred; fluent English is required, with additional European languages a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in Payments, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of payment processes, banking platforms, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in SAP (FI/AP modules preferred) or other ERP systems.
• Solid Excel skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Process and execute domestic and international payments accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and banking regulations.
• Monitor payment queues, investigate rejected or returned payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor and bank master data in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (AP, Treasury, Accounting) to ensure smooth end-to-end payment cycles.
• Support payment process improvements and contribute to automation and system enhancement initiatives.
