Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager - Oncology for IQVIA Biotech. This role focuses on leading clinical delivery for large, multi-regional oncology studies, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful patient outcomes.

Only candidates with prior Global CTM experience will be considered, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet recruitment targets, manage project finances, and mentor junior staff across the study lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care or other scientific discipline.
• Requires at least 5 years of experience in clinical trial management.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in oncology trials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP, protocol) and contract requirements.
• Accountable for meeting recruitment targets and implementing recruitment strategies.
• Develop and manage project risk mitigation plans; monitor clinical risks through the lifecycle.
• Ensure clinical quality delivery by identifying quality standards and monitoring issues.
• Manage project finances including Estimate at Completion (EAC) and variations against baseline.
• Lead as primary CTM alongside other CTMs on large, global trials.
• Identify stakeholder landscape and manage internal and external stakeholders with effective communication.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support milestone achievements and reporting to stakeholders.
• Oversee resourcing and talent planning of the clinical team; provide guidance and training.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback for professional development.
• Adopt corporate initiatives and advocate changes as needed.
• Contribute to clinical delivery strategy for business proposals and bid defenses.
