Zusammenfassung

GoCardless Ltd, a fintech leader in bank payments, seeks a Credit Risk Administrator to join the Internal Operations team. You will own insolvent merchant cases end-to-end and act as the primary contact for all involved parties, coordinating documentation and funds in line with insolvency proceedings.

You’ll work with credit control, legal, finance and customer teams in a hybrid setup, supporting novation, escalation of complex cases, and regular reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifikationen

• Interest in credit risk, insolvency or financial operations.
• Confident in dealing with administrators and insolvency practitioners.
• Strong coordination skills across multiple internal stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Own and manage insolvent merchant cases end-to-end across UK, France and Spain.
• Act as the single point of contact for all internal and external parties involved in an insolvency case.
• Coordinate the collection and submission of required documentation from administrators (proof of debt, claim forms, creditor correspondence).
• Track and manage the collection and release of funds in line with insolvency proceedings and internal policy.
• Bridge between credit control, legal, finance and customer teams on insolvency matters.
• Drive the internal process: chasing stakeholders, flagging blockers, and keeping cases on track.
• Support the novation process for insolvent companies with legal and customer-facing teams.
• Escalate complex or high-value cases to the Head of Billing & Credit Control and the Credit Underwriting team.
• Maintain an insolvency tracker covering live cases and jurisdictions.
• Provide updates for month-end close and flag write-off recommendations where recovery is not viable.
• Manage Zendesk tickets for inactive companies, insolvencies or other notable corporate events.
• Engage with merchants to understand context and take action when appropriate.
