Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Project Manager, Information Security to lead security-focused initiatives across our global organization. You will plan, drive, and deliver technical security projects with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure timely adoption and measurable outcomes.

You will coordinate security platform deployments, cloud security coverage, data protection initiatives, and integrations with acquired businesses, while maintaining clear communication with leadership and end users.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing technical, infrastructure, or IT projects in a global or matrixed organization.
• Proven track record of delivering projects end to end, including planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk and issue management, and project closure.
• Working understanding of information security concepts to engage credibly with engineers and architects.
• Experience coordinating technical deployments across multiple teams: infrastructure, networking, cloud, application development, and end-user computing.
• Experience managing enterprise rollouts that affect end users, including pilots, phased deployments, communications, and service desk readiness.
• Experience tracking project budgets, purchase orders, and vendor deliverables, and working with procurement and finance teams.
• Experience preparing steering committee and executive status reporting, with the ability to present risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly and concisely.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and ServiceNow for project tracking, documentation, and change management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work across a global, matrixed organization.
• Background in security projects (security platform deployments, network security transformations, or M&A integration) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage security projects end to end, defining scope, objectives, milestones, resourcing, and success criteria with sponsors and technical leads.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, tracking dependencies across security, infrastructure, networking, and application teams.
• Coordinate platform deployments with development adoption, onboarding waves, and CI/CD integration.
• Manage workforce-facing rollouts of security capabilities, including pilot groups, phased deployment waves, regional sequencing, and go/no-go decisions.
• Lead change management for end users, including communications plans, user guidance, and training materials.
• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigation and escalation of risks and issues.
• Track project budgets, POs, and vendor deliverables, flagging variances to sponsors.
• Coordinate with vendors and professional services on SLAs, statements of work, and milestones.
• Prepare materials for steering committees and leadership reviews; provide status, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
• Maintain portfolio-level reporting across Information Security projects for leadership visibility.
