Job summary

IQVIA Inc. seeks an Application Security / DevSecOps Specialist to scale secure-by-design practices across global delivery teams.

You will integrate security into the software development lifecycle, support cloud deployments on Azure and AWS, and drive adoption of secure DevSecOps tooling. You will collaborate with Security Architecture, Cloud Security, and Delivery teams to identify risks, implement mitigations, and automate security checks, including AI security considerations for development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling.
• Knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and IaC security.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with containerized architectures (Kubernetes, microservices, APIs).
• Scripting in Python for automation and tooling support.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of CI/CD security controls across product engineering teams, including tooling configuration and remediation follow-through.
• Provide support for CI/CD security requests and onboarding to DevSecOps services.
• Support application security assessments and design reviews with delivery and architecture teams.
• Act as security point of contact for development teams, advising on secure coding and SDLC requirements.
• Review architectures (cloud-native, microservices, APIs, containers) with an architectural security mindset.
• Support secure deployments in Azure and AWS with secure config, identity, and network controls.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, IaC security).
• Develop Python scripts and automations to support security checks and reporting.
