Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Head of Advanced Data Solutions to guide Data & AI strategy across Compression Service. You will shape governance, architecture, and scalable data products, leading a global team of data engineers, scientists, and digital product specialists.

You will partner with global and regional teams to turn complex challenges into scalable digital solutions, delivering measurable business value and data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams across multiple regions.
• Experience translating complex business needs into scalable data and AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture principles and data quality.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of data/AI initiatives, measuring business value.
• Excellent communication of technical concepts to executives and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Data & AI strategy for Compression Service.
• Strengthen data governance, ownership models, and data quality standards.
• Lead evolution of the Data Backbone and Compression Information System.
• Manage Data & AI solutions portfolio based on value, feasibility and compliance.
• Develop reusable data products with clear semantics, lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Drive AI initiatives using ML, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Deliver trusted insights, dashboards, and predictive analytics to decision-makers.
• Lead and develop an international data team of engineers and scientists.
• Collaborate with global IT, Digital Core and service teams for value creation.
• Communicate strategies and investment cases to stakeholders and leadership.
