Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Head of Advanced Data Solutions to lead Data & AI strategy for Compression Service, shaping data governance and scalable data products. You will guide an international team of data engineers and scientists and partner with global service units to drive value.

Responsibilities include defining strategic roadmaps, establishing data quality standards, evolving the Compression Information System, and delivering AI-enabled analytics and dashboards to support operational

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams or transformation programs in data/AI.
• Strong track record translating challenges into scalable data and digital solutions.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and governance frameworks.
• Understanding of AI, ML, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, BI and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Data & AI strategy for Compression Service.
• Establish and strengthen data governance, ownership models, and architecture principles.
• Lead evolution of the Data Backbone and Compression Information System.
• Prioritize Data & AI solutions portfolios based on value and feasibility.
• Develop reusable data products with clear semantics and data lifecycle management.
• Drive high-priority AI initiatives and advanced analytics.
• Provide trusted insights, dashboards, and predictive analytics for decisions.
• Lead and develop an international, multidisciplinary team.
• Partner with global/regional teams, IT, and external partners for value creation.
• Communicate strategies and investment cases to technical and executive audiences.
