Siemens Energy in Amadora, Portugal, seeks a Head of Business Applications to lead the Grid Technologies Digital Services team. You will oversee the entire business application portfolio, including PLM, ERP, MES, CRM/FSM, and PM ecosystems, aligning platforms with end-to-end business processes and enterprise architecture.

You will manage a global team of experts, partner with vendors, and drive modernization, cloud adoption, and scalable software engineering practices across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application projects and programs to time, budget, and quality standards.
• Drive modernization of the application landscape and promote Agile, SAFe, Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Oversee a global, multi-vendor ecosystem and ensure operational stability, performance, and security of critical apps.
