Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Head of Business Applications to lead the development and delivery engine for GT Digital Services. You will oversee the entire portfolio of business applications that power our Grid Technologies operations worldwide, aligning platforms with end-to-end processes and enterprise architecture.

You will manage a diverse team of internal and external experts, drive program delivery, and partner with business teams to ensure performance, security, and value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior leadership role managing large application development and operations teams (50-100+ FTEs) in global industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Proven experience managing strategic vendors and technology suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance management.
• Ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes and manage large, complex budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of all application projects and programs, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and high quality.
• Drive modernization of the application landscape and engineering practices, advancing Agile, SAFe, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Oversee the entire application portfolio lifecycle for Grid Technologies, guiding technology selection and legacy-system rationalization.
