Job summary

Bekaert in Portugal, Lisbon, seeks a Compliance Paralegal to support the Ethics and Compliance function across global programs, including anti-bribery, third-party due diligence, investigations, training and privacy.

You will coordinate operational tasks, maintain compliance systems and documentation, and assist with governance reporting, case management, and audit readiness in collaboration with Compliance Managers and the Head of Ethics and Compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a legal, compliance, audit or governance support role.
• Experience supporting compliance programs or legal processes in a corporate environment.
• Experience with case management systems or screening tools is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for the global Ethics and Compliance program.
• Maintain compliance records and administer program documentation across domains.
• Coordinate training records and LMS updates with HR Learning.
• Support investigations and prepare case summaries for committees.
