Job summary

Devoteam seeks an IT Infrastructure Manager to drive the digital reliability of its core backend architecture, bridging strategy and day-to-day execution across networks, servers and cloud environments while partnering with the Modern Workplace team.

The role focuses on leading two backend pillars, migrating to automated IaC in multi-cloud setups, and ensuring high availability with strong emphasis on GDPR, NIS2 and European compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with 3+ years leading backend operations teams in an international context.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong DevOps, ITIL v4, and GDPR/compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and drive execution across two backend pillars: Systems (Cloud First) and Network Architecture.
• Oversee migration from legacy infrastructure to automated, software-defined environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) using IaC.
• Manage global networking architectures (SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs, Firewalls) for uninterrupted connectivity.
• Collaborate with local IT departments across the EMEA region to harmonize stacks and standards.
• Target 99.9%+ availability for critical backend systems and manage incident/change workflows.
