CEX.IO is seeking a Global Chief Information Security Officer to design, implement, and scale our security strategy across a global, distributed organization. You will build security processes from scratch, ensure GDPR alignment, and lead a remote team to uphold the highest security standards in a regulated fintech environment.

The role focuses on governance, risk management, audits, and security by design for our crypto/ wallet features, with regular interaction with executives and regulators

Qualificações

• Senior security leadership role at CISO/Director level with proven impact.
• Experience managing audits, licensing, and international regulatory compliance.
• track record creating and operating group‑level security processes and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership with remote, distributed teams and strong ownership.
• Fluent English; Ukrainian or Russian is a plus. Must be located to work remotely in Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Define, drive, and execute the global information security roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Build security processes, frameworks, and policies from the ground up across the organization.
• Oversee licenses, certifications (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, DORA, MiCA), audits, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with legal and data protection teams to map security to GDPR compliance.
• Lead and scale a fully remote security team and manage risk/intrusion incidents.
• Bridge global security frameworks with local regulatory mandates across regions.
