Essity is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Global Business Services, handling end-to-end AP processes within a defined scope. You will ensure accurate, compliant financial transactions and collaborate across regions in a dynamic, international setting.

The role emphasizes efficiency, internal controls, and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates hold a finance degree, have AP experience, and are proficient with Office 365 and SAP or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
• Confident user of Office 365 tools with experience working in SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Collaborative and proactive professional who communicates clearly and embraces continuous improvement.
• Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English; all resumes should be submitted in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute global accounts payable activities for a defined area with accuracy and cost awareness.
• Manage high-priority and complex invoices, ensuring timely resolution and correct posting.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and ways of working.
• Support day-to-day functional activities, including training and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist with internal and external audits and contribute to resolving audit findings.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and standardization.
• Provide cross-regional collaboration and support across regions in a matrix organization.
• Identify automation and system improvement opportunities to increase efficiency in AP processes.
