Bruker is seeking a GL Specialist Revenue and Recognition (m/f/d) for the Bruker Business Support Center in Porto, Portugal. The role focuses on revenue recognition in the General Ledger for global internal clients, with exposure to US GAAP and internal controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA, 2+ years of GL/AR experience, strong English skills, and proficiency in SAP or Dynamics Navision and MS Office, including Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance/ACCA.
• Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/AR work experience involving US GAAP revenue recognition.
• Very good English skills (written and oral); Italian a plus.
• Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision and MS Office including Excel.

Responsabilités

• Analyse financial data to ensure revenue recognition according to Bruker corporate policies.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Examine documentation supporting revenue recognition in terms of compliance with US GAAP and internal guidelines (RRC).
• Monitor and analyse revenue streams to identify trends and variances.
• Report monthly to Corporate.
• Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations and SOX controls.
• Support audits and other business queries.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Revenue Recognition Specialist (m/f/d) is part of a team responsible for providing high quality accounting service in the General Ledger for global internal company clients.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse financial data to ensure accurate revenue recognition according to Bruker corporate policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance/ ACCA
• Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/ AR work experience involving US GAAP revenue recognition
• Very good English skills (written and oral), other foreign language would be an asset (preferably Italian)
• Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise
• Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team
• Ability to asses situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, then make clear and timely decisions
• Proactiveness with the ability to manage time-dependent critical processes
• Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.
• High standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
