Cross Border Talents in Porto is hiring a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist. You will support invoice processing, payment allocations, and keep customer accounts up to date.

You'll work with an international team to learn O2C processes, perform reconciliations, and meet accuracy and processing KPIs while developing finance system knowledge.

Qualifications

• German (C1/C2) and English (C1) proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist, you will support daily finance activities, including invoice processing, payment allocation, account updates, and financial record maintenance. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to ensure transactions are processed accurately and customer accounts are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.


• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.


• Review financial documents and verify customer account information.


• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.


• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.


• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.


• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.

• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.


• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.

Requirements:

• Language Skills: Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) and English (C1 level)


• Eligibility: EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card
