Job summary

CallForTalents seeks a Senior Order-to-Cash Specialist to oversee the O2C cycle, optimize collections, and mentor junior staff in Porto, Portugal. You will coordinate with Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Tax teams and ensure robust financial controls in a fast-paced global environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in O2C/Finance operations with leadership exposure, fluent German and advanced English, and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday).

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in O2C, AR, or Finance Operations with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls, and compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
• Advanced Excel, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent German and advanced English (C1) written and spoken.
• Experience in global business environments and multi-currency transactions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end O2C cycle including order management, billing, collections, cash application and disputes.
• Monitor accounts receivable, analyze aging reports and reduce outstanding payments.
• Resolve escalated disputes, negotiate terms and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, audits and tax regulations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement; mentor junior specialists.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Order-to-Cash (O2C) Specialist to oversee financial operations, optimize collections, resolve complex disputes, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end O2C cycle, including order management, billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor accounts receivable (AR), analyze aging reports, and implement strategies to reduce outstanding payments.
• Resolve escalated disputes, negotiate payment terms, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, IFRS, SOX, audit requirements, and tax regulations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior specialists and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Treasury, and Tax teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5–7 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls, and compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
• Advanced Excel, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, with weekends off.
• The schedule may transition to rotational 24/7 shifts at a later date, subject to client confirmation.
• On-site position in Porto, Portugal.
