Job summary

Adecco Recursos Humanos in Lisbon is seeking a German Accounts Receivable Specialist (m/f) to join a Shared Services Centre. The role focuses on processing payments, reconciling figures, and ensuring cash flow accuracy in an international environment.

Requirements include a finance-related Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in AR/finance, fluency in English and German, plus strong Excel and ERP knowledge. A permanent contract is offered with multinational exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years in Accounts Receivable or Finance roles.
• Fluency in English and German (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
• Reconcile payments and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage collections activities, including direct debit payments.
• Follow up on blocked invoices and release in the ERP system.
• Prepare and analyse Accounts Receivable reports.
• Review customer accounts and support AR controls and reviews.
