Adecco Resources Human is seeking a German Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its Shared Services Centre in Lisbon. The role focuses on processing payments, reconciling discrepancies, managing collections, and supporting AR controls in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of AR or finance experience.
• Fluency in English and German mandatory.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Process and accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
• Reconcile payments and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage collections activities, including customers paying via direct debit.
• Follow up on blocked invoices and release in the ERP system.
• Prepare and analyse Accounts Receivable reports.
• Review customer accounts and support AR controls and reviews.

Adecco is recruiting an German Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a Shared Services Centre, supporting international operations with a strong focus on the German market. You will work closely with multicultural teams and play an active role in ensuring financial accuracy and cash flow efficiency.

Your main responsibilities

• Process and accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts;
• Reconcile payments and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner;
• Manage collections activities, including customers paying via direct debit;
• Follow up on blocked invoices and support their release in the ERP system;
• Prepare and analyse Accounts Receivable reports;
• Review customer accounts and support AR controls and reviews.

What were looking for

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (preferred);
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance roles;
• Fluency in English and German language skills (mandatory);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude;
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
