HN Services Portugal seeks an AI Engineer to join an international banking environment, shaping AI-powered solutions from concept to production. You will design, build and deploy GenAI applications, integrating LLMs with enterprise data and APIs, while collaborating with business and tech teams.

Proficiency in Python, strong English (C1), and hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and security best practices are essential for success in this hybrid Lisbon-based role.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer or Generative AI Engineer.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience building RAG solutions and integrating LLMs with APIs and business systems.
• Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, model evaluation and data preparation.
• Experience deploying applications or AI solutions to production.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
• English (C1).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and integrate AI and Generative AI solutions into business applications.
• Build and maintain LLM-powered applications, including chatbots and AI assistants.
• Develop RAG pipelines to connect language models with enterprise data.
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph to orchestrate AI workflows.
• Build backend services and APIs, primarily using Python.
• Prepare, process and connect data sources for AI applications.
• Evaluate model performance and improve the quality, reliability and relevance of AI-generated results.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain AI solutions in production environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, software engineers and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow good practices for security, data privacy, testing and responsible AI.
