Job summary

Adecco Recursos Humanos is seeking a General HR Officer who speaks French to join our Porto-based HR Services team supporting the French market. You will handle employee lifecycle topics, policies, and advisory support in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Location Porto, Portugal, with a focus on HR administration, employee relations and labour law in an international context. Fluency in French and English is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fluent French and English written and spoken.
• Degree in HR, Labour Law, or related field.
• Solid HR administration and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and HR processes.
• Experience handling complex HR cases and personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for managers and operational teams on HR matters.
• Provide first-level HR guidance on policies, procedures and lifecycle topics.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments and HR documentation.
• Manage employee correspondence related to leaves, contracts and HR processes.
• Support disciplinary procedures by drafting documentation and ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
• Assist managers with employee relations cases and complex HR matters.
• Coordinate employee transfers, departures and administrative processes.
• Contribute to HR improvement initiatives and cross-business projects.

What you'll do

• Support disciplinary procedures by drafting relevant documentation and ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
• Assist managers with employee relations cases and complex HR matters.
• Coordinate employee transfers, departures, and associated administrative processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects across the business.
