Pencil is seeking a Product Researcher to bridge Generative AI and its real users. You’ll live with clients, translate messy feedback into clear insights, and shape the future of creative automation.

You’ll lead end-to-end research cycles, run diary studies, surveys and RITE tests, work closely with Product Managers and Engineers, and nurture a community of power users who feel valued and heard.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years in Product Research, UX Research or a similar client-facing insight role.
• AI literacy with Generative AI and an understanding of its impact on creative workflows.
• Independent execution with ability to manage multiple mid-scale projects.
• Strong communication and storytelling to align stakeholders.
• Strategic judgment to differentiate between one-off requests and broader opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• User Discovery & Advocacy: Lead end-to-end research cycles, from recruiting participants to conducting deep dive interviews and usability tests.
• Continuous Feedback Loop: Manage day-to-day interactions with clients to capture granular feedback on new GenAI features.
• Methodological Excellence: Apply diary studies, surveys, and RITE testing to provide high-quality insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to turn findings into requirements.
• Closed Loop Communication: Maintain relationships with superusers and showcase impact on the Pencil roadmap.
• Value Exchange Management: Deliver value back to participants through early access, previews, or expert insights.
