GMV Spain is seeking engineers to contribute to the Galileo Programme ground segment. You will participate in software design and deployment, automating infrastructure and ensuring secure, reliable operations across critical space systems.

The role requires Linux basics, Python/Java skills, and Spanish listening comprehension. The position offers hybrid working, a relocation package, and ongoing career development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Fields of study include Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related backgrounds.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments.
• Basic programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Spanish listening comprehension is required; speaking and writing not required.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in software design and development activities for Galileo ground segment systems.
• Automate infrastructure and middleware deployments for Control Centre platforms.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Develop monitoring, operational and security tools.
• Perform application and service validation, testing and deployment activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security, reliability and performance of critical systems.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering activities spanning software development, systems administration, automation and DevOps practices.
