Revolut Ltd. is seeking an experienced Underwriter to autonomously underwrite SME financing applications for FX products and trading facilities, improve auto-decisioning tools, and monitor an active lending book. You will shape risk policies and support growth across regions with cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on risk assessment, policy governance, and scalable risk management, with exposure to FX, onboarding and limit management in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, statistics, maths, economics).
• Experience with credit policy governance and 2nd/3rd line of defence.
• Experience in FX risk features, or trading products in credit underwriting.
• Ability to document exposure risks clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with fraud risk controls in business credit underwriting, FX onboarding and trading approvals.
• Proven track record of delivering results exceeding requirements.
• Ability to process large information sets to make optimal decisions.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite SME financing applications for FX products and facilities through thorough analysis of accounts, open banking, business models and data sources.
• Balance risk and reward for each application to optimise portfolio quality.
• Decide FX trading limits or present deals to the credit committee for review.
• Improve risk underwriting policies for FX exposures and contribute to KRIs.
• Meet KPIs on underwriting, including approval/decline rates and threshold limits.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive changes across onboarding, limit management and margining processes.
• Minimise client friction while maintaining robust risk controls.
• Monitor and validate credit decision outcomes and FX exposure movements.
• Lead proactive actions to protect portfolio performance against macro/micro factors.
• Ensure first-line credit risk signs off FX activities across 2nd/3rd lines and regulators.
