Job summary

Marsh in Lisbon is seeking a talented Fund Operations professional to oversee day-to-day operations of private markets funds as part of the Global Private Markets Hub. The role is hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days a week and close collaboration with fund administrators, managers and auditors.

The candidate will support cash management, investor communications, on-boarding closings, and fund audits while coordinating with legal, compliance and technology teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Basic knowledge of private markets asset classes including Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Real Estate is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Fluent English level.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fund Operations team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Fund Operations team is part of our Global Private Markets Hub.

We offer customized and pooled investment solutions and advisory services for institutional investors across various asset classes, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate, and hedge funds.

As a member of the Fund Operations Team you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of Marsh private markets funds.

You will be an integral part of the Fund Operations Team located in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Portugal and India.

We will count on you to:

• Liaise with external stakeholders such as fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors.
