Job summary

Center for Responsible is hiring a Full Stack Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal to build and maintain APIs, AI model integrations, and responsive UIs for Affine, our AI-powered product for lawyers. You’ll work on backend, frontend, and testing tasks in a collaborative startup environment.

The role requires 2+ years in full stack development, a Master’s degree, and proficiency with Python or TypeScript, React/NextJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and cloud providers like AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in full stack development.
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
Proficient in Python or Typescript (FastAPI, ExpressJS or similar).
Experience with React and/or NextJS.
Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with Cloud Providers such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with software testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of AI, machine learning and LLMs

We're an early-stage AI startup that helps lawyers by integrating AI into their daily workflows. Our product, Affine, is designed to help lawyers find and cross the most relevant information for their daily tasks. We are a small team with a strong background in AI, data science, and software engineering. We're looking for a Full Stack to help us develop solutions using AI models and support the development of our flagship product Affine.
