Job summary

Adentis Portugal seeks an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain enterprise-scale applications. You will design backend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, and build scalable microservices and REST APIs.

You will also develop AI/GenAI integrations, emphasize API-first architectures, and operate in a fully remote, international team environment. Fluency in English (C1/C2) is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Java with strong Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
• 4+ years of frontend development, mainly with React.
• Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs and integration architecture.
• Experience with AI/GenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases/search and AI integrations valued.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• English at C1/C2 – mandatory for a fully remote international environment.
