Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. You will work in an agile, multicultural environment and contribute to scalable solutions, leveraging Java, Angular, and modern tooling.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Java experience, knowledge of microservices, and proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development, including microservices.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gradle, Maven, JUnit 5, and Mockito.
• Knowledge of Hibernate or other ORM tools, design patterns, and cloud-based development.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
• English fluent. Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate in an agile multicultural environment.

• Design and implement new features for web applications using Java and Angular.
• Optimize and maintain existing code to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and optimize SQL procedures for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
