Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a proactive Front-End Developer to join the Digital Innovation team in Network Operations. You’ll shape frontend solutions, build reusable components, and drive the delivery of modern web/mobile experiences.

You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams and focus on quality, performance, and scalability. The role requires 3+ years of front-end experience, strong React/TypeScript skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3 with modern component-based development.
• Experience with micro-frontends, reusable components, modularity, and scalable front-end architectures.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices; integrate front-end with backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Git, npm, Webpack and ESLint; collaborative development and code quality.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments; testing and quality assurance.
• Fluent English, written and spoken (C1).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end digital solutions and reusable components for web apps.
• Drive continuous improvements focusing on usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, and solution definition for new needs.
• Develop solutions using modern front-end architectures including micro-frontends and API integration.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and coding standards.
• Contribute to defining and improving front-end standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Work within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/SAFe) and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to reliability and evolution of digital products.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and evaluate value for our ecosystem.
