KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking an amazing mid-level Java backend developer with 3 to 5 years of experience. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases, collaborating with Product Owners and Architects on multinational projects.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development;
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot;

• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD practices;
• Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito);
• Understanding of software development best practices, including Clean Code and Agile methodologies;
• Ability to write clear and structured technical documentation;
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Architects;
• Fluency in French (mandatory)

• Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases;
• Experience with code reviews, mentoring, or technical guidance activities;
• Familiarity with Design Patterns and Test-Driven Development (TDD);
• Previous experience working in international environments.
• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications using Java and Spring Boot;
• Contribute to the evolution and optimization of existing applications;
• Ensure the implementation of software development best practices;
• Participate in code reviews and promote code quality standards;
• Develop and maintain technical documentation;
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Identify performance bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives;
• Participate in testing, deployment, and maintenance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
