Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced Formwork Technician for our Porto site. You will read blueprints, assemble formwork, install reinforcements, and pour concrete according to plans and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in formwork or related construction work, strong math skills, and the ability to operate basic site machinery. You will collaborate with project managers and teammates to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine materials and layout.
• Perform precise measurements and calculations for formwork.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine materials required for formwork installation
• Construct and assemble formwork according to specifications and safety standards
• Install reinforcement bars as needed
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten materials
• Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts to move materials
• Ensure proper alignment and levelness of formwork
• Pour concrete into formwork and remove once set
• Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
• Follow all safety procedures on site
• Communicate with project managers and other team members regarding progress
