Job summary

CloudHire in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced Formworker to join our construction team. You will measure and cut materials, assemble and install formwork, and pour and finish concrete on site using traditional timber and modern systems.

This full-time role requires reading blueprints, staying physically fit, clear English communication, and attention to detail under deadlines. Overtime may be required; accommodation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in construction industry.
• Read blueprints and interpret project plans.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Experience with various types of formwork (Doka, Peri).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
• Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut materials according to project specifications.
• Assemble and install formwork using various methods (e.g. traditional timber, steel).
• Pour and finish concrete using hand tools or power equipment.
• Ensure all safety standards are followed on the job site; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
