Formwork Technician

We are in need of a skilled and dedicated Formwork Technician to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and installing temporary structures used to support concrete during construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and design plans
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Assemble and erect formwork structures
• Pour concrete into forms and smooth surfaces using hand or power tools
• Inspect completed structures for accuracy and quality
• Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in construction or carpentry preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
