Flyper is seeking an experienced Formwork Technician for our Porto site. You will read blueprints, assemble formwork, install reinforcements, and pour concrete according to plans and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in formwork or related construction work, strong math skills, and the ability to operate basic site machinery. You will collaborate with project managers and teammates to keep projects on track.

• Follow all safety procedures on site
• Communicate with project managers and other team members regarding progress

Formwork Technician

We are a well-established construction company in Porto and we are seeking an experienced Formwork Technician to join our team. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine the materials required for formwork installation
• Construct and assemble formwork according to specifications and safety standards
• Install reinforcement bars as needed
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten materials
• Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts to move materials

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Formworker or related role in the construction industry
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans
• Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month depending on experience.

This job is located in Porto. Please note that accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have their own visa or work permit.
