Confidential is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations in a luxury hotel near Porto. You will deliver exceptional service standards across the guest journey and lead a capable team to maintain the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has luxury F&B experience, strong leadership, and excellent knowledge of wine service, menu development, and guest experience. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential.

My client, a 5 star hotel near Porto, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations whilst delivering exceptional service standards across the guest journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and has a passion for team leadership, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Director of Food & B, you will lead and develop a team of talented hospitality professionals, ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining the highest quality standards, and driving operational performance across all F&B outlets.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven Food & Beverage management experience within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Excellent knowledge of restaurant, bar, and guest service operations.
• Experience managing inventory, stock control, labour costs, and departmental budgets.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage guest feedback and service recovery.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu development, wine service, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Fluent Portuguese is essential as is English.

This role would suit an energetic and visible leader who enjoys being present on the floor, developing people, and creating outstanding dining experiences for guests.
