Edp Renovaveis Servicios Financieros SA is seeking a Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team. Based in Portugal, you will handle month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and statutory reporting for renewable energy projects.

You will work with SAP, IFRS, and Excel, ensuring compliance and accuracy, while supporting auditors and collaborating with BU teams. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; contract is Fixed-Term from 01/11/2026 to 19/01/2028.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analyses.
• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.
• Preparation of statutory accounts and reporting packages.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor and account CAPEX related to renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support internal and external auditors.
• Maintain adequate documentation and audit trails for all significant transactions.
• Collaborate and support BU teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analyses
• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements
• Preparation of statutory accounts and reporting packages
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Monitor and account capital expenditures (CAPEX) related to renewable energy projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Support internal and external auditors
• Maintain adequate documentation and audit trails for all significant transactions
• Collaborate and support BU teams

Contract type: Fixed-Term Contract – 01/11/2026 to 19/01/2028
