EDP in Lisbon is seeking a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to join the team. You will support monthly consolidation, data loading, and reporting for the Corporate Center across geographies. The role requires 1–3 years in accounting or financial reporting, IFRS knowledge, and strong Excel skills; English proficiency is important.

Proficiency in English and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are essential for collaborating with multiple geographies and platforms within the EDP Group.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards preferred.
• Good written and spoken English.

We are looking for a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Analyst to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly consolidation activities for the EDP Group.


• Participate in the loading of accounting data into the consolidation system, including the validation and analysis of the main variations.


• Support the different geographies and platforms of the EDP Group in the preparation of financial information for reporting to the Corporate Center.


• Support the preparation of financial information and analysis for other Corporate Center departments.


• Support the analysis of the accounting impacts arising from new operations.

What are we looking for:

• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field.


• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation or a related area.


• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards would be valued.


• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.


• Spanish would be valued.


• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.


• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.


• Ability to analyse financial information and identify and understand key variations.


• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different geographies, platforms and stakeholders across the EDP Group.


• Proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented profile.


• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team environment.


• Good problem-solving skills and a structured approach to analysing financial information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a multinational or international environment.


• Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes.


• Previous exposure to consolidation systems or financial reporting tools.


• Practical knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting standards.


• Experience working with different geographies or business units.


• Advanced Excel skills or experience with other financial data analysis and reporting tools.
