Kardex Portugal, Unipessoal Lda in Lisbon is building a new Finance Reporting & Administration hub. You will own key accounting activities and drive the migration into Kardex Business Services, helping create a scalable, high‑performing finance function.

The role requires several years in international finance, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori experience, and fluency in English and Portuguese. It emphasizes process improvement, harmonization, automation, and collaboration with global teams.

Competenze

• Several years of experience in Finance and Accounting within an international/multi-entity environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori in a complex finance environment.
• Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Finance Transformation, or process migration environments.
• Ability to understand end-to-end finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.

As part of our newly established Finance Reporting & Administration (FRA) team in Lisbon, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning finance activities into our Business Services organization while helping to build a scalable, high-performing finance function for the future.

Your tasks

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with a passion for process improvement, collaboration, and continuous development.

Initially, you will take ownership of key accounting activities and process transitions.

As our Lisbon operation expands, you will have the opportunity to help build and develop a team while contributing to the future direction of Finance Operations within Kardex.

Support the transition of Finance Reporting & Administration activities into Kardex Business Services.

Take ownership of selected accounting and Record-to-Report processes during migration and stabilization phases.

Partner with Finance teams across multiple countries to ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness.

Drive process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and digitalization.

Contribute to the ongoing development of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes.

Help establish a scalable Finance organization capable of supporting future growth.

Support the development of a collaborative and service-oriented team environment as the FRA function expands.

Your profile

Several years of experience in Finance and Accounting within an international and/or multi-entity environment.

Strong practical accounting expertise across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany Accounting, reconciliations, and period-end closing activities.

Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori in a complex finance environment.

The ability to understand end-to-end finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.

Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Finance Transformation, or process migration environments would be highly valued.

Confidence working in a growing and evolving environment where building new ways of working is part of the challenge.

Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.
