Kardex is building a Lisbon-based Finance Reporting & Administration hub. The role anchors transitioning finance activities, owning select Record-to-Report processes, and collaborating with international finance teams to standardize and automate workflows.

You will contribute to building a scalable finance function, drive process improvements, and help shape the FRA organization as Kardex expands its global services, with a hybrid work setup.

Competenze

• Several years of experience in Finance and Accounting within an international and multi-entity environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori in a complex finance environment.
• Ability to understand end-to-end finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
• Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Finance Transformation, or process migration environments would be valued.

• Support the transition of Finance Reporting & Administration activities into Kardex Business Services.
• Take ownership of selected accounting and Record-to-Report processes during migration and stabilization phases.
• Partner with Finance teams across multiple countries to ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness.

As part of our newly established Finance Reporting & Administration (FRA) team in Lisbon, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning finance activities into our Business Services organization while helping to build a scalable, high-performing finance function for the future.

Your tasks

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with a passion for process improvement, collaboration, and continuous development. Initially, you will take ownership of key accounting activities and process transitions.

As our Lisbon operation expands, you will have the opportunity to help build and develop a team while contributing to the future direction of Finance Operations within Kardex.

• Support the transition of Finance Reporting & Administration activities into Kardex Business Services.
• Take ownership of selected accounting and Record-to-Report processes during migration and stabilization phases.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in Finance and Accounting within an international and/or multi-entity environment.
• Strong practical accounting expertise across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany Accounting, reconciliations, and period-end closing activities.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori in a complex finance environment.
• The ability to understand end-to-end finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
• Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, Finance Transformation, or process migration environments would be highly valued.
• Confidence working in a growing and evolving environment where building new ways of working is part of the challenge.
• Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese.
