UBQ.io is seeking a Finance Developer to build an internal web platform for portfolio management. You will own features end-to-end, from data queries to user interface, combining finance acumen with software engineering.

You will design backend services and dashboards, translate valuation and P&L logic into robust code, and optimise data pipelines while collaborating with finance teams for accurate, actionable insights.

Qualificações

• Solid professional experience with Python backend development.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including P&L, NAV, exposure, cost basis.
• Proficient in writing non-trivial SQL, ideally on BigQuery or cloud warehouse.
• Detail-oriented with a habit of testing and reconciling numbers.
• Clear communication and ability to clarify requirements with finance teams.
• MSc in Finance or progress towards CFA/CAIA, or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain platform features such as summary metrics, interactive tables, and data visualisations.
• Translate financial methodologies into backend logic and ensure accuracy against source systems.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for cloud data warehouse queries.
• Ensure platform reliability with caching, performance tuning and robust error handling.
• Collaborate with finance and operations stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver improvements.
