A leading Fintech company in Lisbon is looking for a financial engineer to develop its Quantitative Investment Strategies platform. Qualificações

• Strong competency in Python programming focused on time series analysis.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic understanding of financial derivatives.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Quantitative Investment Strategies within the platform.
• Create new indices within existing QIS types.
• Automate processes to improve platform efficiency.
• Price structured products linked to QIS.
• Prepare marketing materials and generate quantitative statistics.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Working within a global team of financial engineers; the candidate will focus on the development of the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) platform and help ensure its smooth running.

• Implementation of new types of QIS within the platform; with a freedom to develop within an established code base (Python, Net)
• Creation of new indices within existing QIS types.
• Automation of well established processes (both long and short term projects to improve the efficiency and robustness of the platform)
• QIS linked structured product pricing
• Preparation of narrative/marketing materials to support new product ideas including generation of quantitative statistics/ QIS backtests

WHAT YOULL NEED:

• Strong competency in python programming (heavy focus on time series analysis)
• Good spoken and written English
• Knowledge of financial markets with a basic understanding of financial derivatives.
• Flexibility in approach: to deal with day-to-day business needs and long term projects at the same time.
