You will work with DCS/ PLC/ SCADA systems, participate in on-call rotations, and travel domestically and internationally. A related engineering degree and strong troubleshooting skills are required.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with OT systems: DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, and SCADA.
• Engineering degree or technical qualification in a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Availability for on-call support rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high‑quality technical support for Honeywell automation, safety, cybersecurity and digital solutions.
• Configure, install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade systems on-site and remotely.
• Support projects from small modifications to large modernization and migration initiatives.
• Install and maintain servers, networks, and virtualization per GSM standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents using root cause analysis.
• Manage incidents and service requests with professional, customer-focused communication.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and identify opportunities to improve operations.
• Maintain health, safety, security and environmental standards.
• Pursue ongoing training and Honeywell certification programmes.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping our customers operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Delivering high-quality technical support for Honeywell automation, safety, cybersecurity, and digital solutions.
• Performing configuration, installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system upgrades both remotely and on-site.
• Supporting a wide range of projects, from small system modifications to large-scale modernization and migration initiatives.
• Installing and maintaining servers, networks, virtualized environments, proprietary hardware, and software platforms in accordance with project specifications and Honeywell Global Service Management (GSM) standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex system incidents using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
• Managing customer incidents and service requests while maintaining proactive, professional, and customer-focused communication.
• Building trusted relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance through innovative Honeywell technologies and services.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, security, and environmental compliance.
• Continuously developing your expertise through world-class Honeywell training, certification programmes, and international learning opportunities.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, engineering, operations, maintenance, technical support, or related environments.
• Hands-on experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems, including:
  • Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD)
  • Fire & Gas Systems (F&G)
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • SCADA platforms
• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation.

Desirable Experience

The following experience will help you stand out:

• Supporting industrial customers within Energy, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Utilities, or other process industries.
• Industrial cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and managed network devices.
• TCP/IP network design and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Domain Controllers.
• VMware and/or Nutanix virtualisation technologies.
• Operating system installation, patch management, and lifecycle maintenance.
• System hardening, security compliance, and audit requirements.
• Technical documentation development, including network architectures, IP plans, and system specifications.
• Customer-facing service and support experience.
• Previous experience with Honeywell Process Control Systems.
