Job summary

Tetra Pak in Lisbon is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to reinforce the Customer Service Operations team. You will deliver high‑quality technical services and support on site at customer locations, focusing on mechanics, electronics, and automation through servicing our installations.

You will travel 75% of the time to customer sites across Portugal and occasionally other European countries. A work permit for Portugal is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic or electro‑mechanical engineering or equal experience in the field.
1–2 years work experience in electro‑mechanical maintenance.
1–2 years experience in PLC, electrical and electronic systems in general.
Ability to repair machines onsite.
Experience with filling machines is a big advantage.
Willing to travel extensively in Portugal and foreign countries (especially Angola, Spain).
Driving license and good command of computer skills, MS Office.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and maintain the equipment and installations of Filling Machines and Distribution Equipment in our customers around Lisbon, sometimes in other European countries.
Perform troubleshooting and fault‑finding services on site and by phone.
Conduct production supervision and operator training at customer sites.
Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow up on customers concerns and problems.
