Job summary

Tetra Pak in Lisbon is seeking a highly motivated engineer to reinforce the Customer Service Operations team in the Lisbon area. You will deliver high-quality technical services and support to customers, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and satisfactorily.

This role offers hands-on experience in mechanics, electronics, and automation by performing services on client sites. You will travel about 75% of the time to customer sites and must have a valid work permit to work in Portugal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
• 1–2 years experience in PLC, electrical and electronic systems
• Willing to travel extensively in Portugal and abroad (Portugal + Angola, Spain)

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain equipment and installations of Filling Machines and Distribution Equipment at customer sites, occasionally in other European countries
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on site and by phone
• Conduct production supervision and operator training at customer sites
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, including follow-up on concerns and problems

You will be traveling 75% of your time to our customer sites and you need a work permit to work in Portugal.

What You Will Do

• Install, commission and maintain the equipment and installations of Filling Machines and Distribution Equipment in our customers around Lisbon, sometimes in other European countries
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and by phone
• Conduct production supervision and operator training at customer sites
• Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow up on customers concerns and problems

We believe you have

We believe you have

• Bachelor's degree or higher, in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering - or equal experience in the field
• 1-2 years work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
• 1-2 years experience in PLC, electrical and electronic systems in general
• Ability to repair machines onsite
• Experience with filling machines is a big advantage
• Willing to travel extensively in Portugal and foreign countries (especially Angola, Spain)
• Native level of Portuguese and a good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential). Spanish an asset
• Driving license
• Good command of computer skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Proven understanding of Customer Satisfaction and business vision
• Initiative and ability to work in team
• Customer oriented and result oriented attitude
