Bloq.it is seeking a Field Service Coordinator based in Portugal to coordinate deployments and maintenance of smart lockers in Italy and Germany. You will ensure smooth field operations, manage escalation responses, and help maintain service quality across a tech-forward team.

The role requires fluency in English and Italian, with German a plus, and the ability to work with ERP/ticketing systems. A remote-friendly policy and dynamic startup culture are offered.

• Ensure clear direction and SOPs for validation tasks such as surveys, works, deployments or maintenances.
• Provide prompt response and troubleshoot operational challenges for technicians and store managers.
• Contribute to creation of processes with support and maintenance teams for technical issues.
• Manage flow when tasks fail and ensure delivery of the service thereafter.
• Handle client escalations and provide status updates; perform post-mortems and report findings.
• Develop and update documentation, training materials and SOPs.
• Stay up-to-date with product developments and processes to empower field teams.

We are in search of an English and Italian speaking Field Service Coordinator based in Portugal to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in the successful deployment and activation of lockers in Italy and Germany, as well as in reporting field data on deployment and maintenance tickets. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and responsive coordination of field operations, guaranteeing the quality, continuity, and performance of services related to the deployment, activation, and maintenance of Bloq.it lockers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide a highly responsive field service coordination;
• Ensure clear direction and SOPs for validation tasks such as surveys, works, deployments or maintenances performed by our deployment team or technicians is successful and delivered with high quality;
• Provide prompt response and troubleshoot operational challenges for technicians and store managers via telephone, e-mail, whatsapp and other communication channels;
• Contribute to creation of clear processes with the support and maintenance organization to request support on technical issues related to the deployment and maintenance of smart lockers, including hardware and software components;
• Manage exceptional flow when tasks fail due to operational or technical issues and take ownership of the successful delivery of the service thereafter;
• Handle client escalations and provide feedback and promptly and regular status updates; Perform post-mortems on exceptional cases and provide reports to build learning and help improve our service quality;
• Contribute to the development and updating of documentation, training materials and standard operating procedures;
• Keep up-to-date with product developments and company processes to enhance operational and technical knowledge of our field teams.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues;
• Proficiency in both English and Italian, with good communication skills; German is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience in coordinating with contractors and managing maintenance projects;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.

It Would Be Great If You Would Also Have

• Previous experience in working with ERP/ticketing systems such as ODOO, Fresh Services or Airtable is a plus;
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools;
• Experience in a startup culture and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
