DP World is seeking a Field Sales Manager Freight Forwarding in Portugal to drive growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities in air, ocean and road transport. You will manage a growing book of business, maintain CRM records, and collaborate with pricing and operations teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in sales within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English for international business.
• Willingness to travel and an organized, self-driven approach.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding (air, ocean, and road transport).
• Manage a book of business with continuous growth in volume, revenue, and margin.
• Maintain a healthy balance between hunting and farming activities to grow the customer portfolio.
• Update the CRM system daily to manage the sales pipeline.
• Visit prospective and existing customers regularly to build long-term relationships.
• Understand customer needs and propose tailored logistics solutions; prepare quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with pricing and operations teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth service delivery.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments; represent the company at trade shows when required.
